No Man Sky VR (Meta Quest 3S)
I play No Man Sky on XBox and been playing for years. I just purchased the Meta Quest 3S and want to play it on Steamlink (Which I will purchase the game for Steam). Have router plugged directly into the computer but connecting wirelessly to the Meta Quest is laggy. Do you suggest using a link cable for best playback? Also can you use the MQ controllers to play the game or do I need to set a controller up? Also, stupid question, can I use my save from my xbox for the PC version?

We really need a VR sub.

Well, I am using Quest 3, Meta Air Link with Wifi7 router, Core 9 285K, 4090, 64GB, M.2, Win11....The game runs almost flawlessly with all settings on Ultra, my current PC is pretty beefy but I just got this PC and my previous PC (i9-9900K, 3080, 32GB, M.2, Win10) worked just as well. It takes a really good connection to Wifi and a capable PC to handle NMS.

The touch controllers work with no setup.

I have had to fiddle with a lot of settings to get it just right... Look on YouTube for videos that explain the way to set up everything.

Dont know about cross saves.

Could you tell us what res and frame rate are u using on the meta app ?

I am using 90hz and 4128x2208 resolution as set in the Meta App
cross save is still in beta testing.
There's a small chance you may manage to join the beta test if you're lucky, but I've heard it's still buggy, so I'd be cautious about participating without making backups of any saves first...

It all depends on your hardware unfortunately, it might work for him and look even worse for you

There's nothing lucky about getting in the Beta. I'm in it. It sucks. I'm hoping we get a patch soon, because I'm getting sick of all the bugs.
steamlink? steamlink is not for vr, you do not need it, all you need to install is meta app and steamvr
also the mq controllers are supported
