How is Multiplayer?
It's has been quite awhile since i played this game and then it was solo. And from what i recall multiplayer was basically your friends being some greyed out icon, ofcorse my memory can be wrong.
So thus to my question, what can you do and not do in multiplayer and can you actually see your friends and cooperate with building and such??

Honestly if u don't mind doing only nexus missions with your friends, all other aspects of multiplayer outside of that are not sync'd...planet weather, combat...literally everything you'd care about in multiplayer. You can build together, do some stuff together, but once you realize you aren't actually playing the same game, short of nexus missions...mp in this falls flat fast. If all you care about is building and screwing around i'd say try it, but if u want more than the typical grind this game offers in singleplayer, i'd say you are SoL.
You must have been playing after the NEXT update when everyone was glowing balls.

Multi player is better but not great.

Players have customizable avatars.

There is a community hub where you can gather and go on mini missions.

You can visit each other's bases, help build and give each other resources.

The game is still 90% solo play.

It's mostly just parallel solo play and things sync poorly. You will often not see what your friend sees even when looking at the same place.

It's a bug dating back to 2018 and Hello Games just refuses to bother to fix it. Shameful.
I hope NMS “Multiplayer” isn't a foreshadowing of “Light no fire's" MP.
