As far as I can see if reading it right we are up to about 35% on phase one of five, we would then have another four phases to work through in that time, there again it could be just me reading it wrong.
I'd say that is on pace to get them all completed by the end of the expedition, especially when you consider that the final week is likely to have more people playing it.
It's also worth pointing out that Hello Games tends to rig the deck in our favor. i.e. they tweak it if we aren't making progress quickly enough.
Also factor in the Sale price the game just went on & all the new players who either gifted it, got it AS A gift & I'd say just find something to do & chill.
I went & Made A weird base because I found another Gravity Planet while looking for Dissident Systems.
The Last one I made in the last expedition is still A Blast & alot of people seemed to get A kick out of Making A Colossus Fly, so I thought if I gotta stick around, may as well have A Game to play.
So Skeeball On A Gravity Storm Planet, or A Driving Range? not sure what to call it, except fun to build, fun to play in & functional for the Expedition & I can do my part blowing up Sentinels on my own Island base.
So go do what you wouldn't normally do, Blow up freighters left & right & make every race hate your guts & take the opportunity to go full Pirate, it doesn't effect the normal game & sit can be OH SO satisfying to blow some of those rude jerks to Dust & Ashes because they warped right next to me in open Freakin space & that warping THUMP goes of like 6-7 times right in my earholes!
Now the penalty for rudeness is DEATH!
The game is what you make of it friend, you paid the ticket price, enjoy the show & all it has to offer.
That's fair, I hadn't considered that.
Does anyone know if there's any benefit to the community to killing more than 50 horrors/sentinels/vile brood per phase?
NM. I found it. I have a back log of missions and quests that it got buried under. I do wish they'd fix mission focusing so it didn't deviate from the one selected until manually prompted to do so.
I would also imagine they have made the overall requirements smaller given the shorter expo duration.
(the figures weren't visible in game, but they were found within the code)
If I remember correctly, it takes a total of 250 kills to meet the minimum requirement to get the tier 5 reward once the community goal is met.
Although killing more than 150 horrors/sentinels/bugs per day doesn't help with the community goal, it will net you a nice haul of nanites upon ending the expo (I think it was 50 per kill last time, which is double the usual 25 you get in other expos)
It's running for 2 weeks, so it's a bit early to be concerned. I'm sure we'll make it.
New player here during the steam black week/november sale and i found my alternative to skyrim. But man...."go full pirate" is such a crazy and fun idea, since it will not effect your main save...
Thank you for the tip!
