Atlas mission(s) question: what to do with these "gifts"

As I'm getting deeper into the Atlas mission(s) as I visit different Atlas bases, I've been gifted many colored "orbs" (?) along the way, that have all been placed in my overall cargo. Such as: "Heart of the sun", "englobed shade", "modified quanta"...etc etc.
The descriptions state, when I hover over the objects, that they can all be "used for crafting", yet I cannot combine them with anything or place them into my ship, exosuit, or multi-tool slots. At least a dozen or so of these "orbs" I've been given by the different Atlas areas as I get further into the Atlas mission(s).
What am I supposed to do with them, and/or HOW?

Those are known as Atlas seeds. They allow you to complete the Atlas path and create a new star and/or give you a health bonus:

Those are not part of the Artemis missions, they are part of the Atlas Path missions, which is an entirely separate mission chain.

That said, you do need to craft the final tier of those to craft an exosuit technology which you earn at the end of the Artemis path.
