That's par-for-the-course for Hello Games though. They often don't do a great job of being crystal clear when they communicate. I think that's a side effect of the fact that they so rarely communicate, so they probably do not have a dedicated (i.e. properly trained) staff member for "community interaction" like some studios.
There are some people that just always put things off until they are out of time. And then they waste more time complaining about it because they "Didn't have the time" then what it would have taken them to just have done it right away when they heard of it.
