Steam won't let me download the Starborn Phoenix
I believe the link to downloading the Starborn Phoenix is broken as when I click on the DLC page there is no option to download it. when I try to add to cart I just get an error message. Any solutions?

I have the same issue. Others are having this problem too. Looks broke

I sent Hello Games an email informing them of the issue, hopefully they fix + extend the event as it would be unfair for players to miss out on this because of a broken link

Because the offer ended almost 10 hours ago. Learn to read.

The cutoff for this offer was during mid-day/afternoon for North America and South America (save for Hawaii where it would have been mid-morning), which is somewhat unusual. I suspect that contributed to many people there glancing at and misapprehending the actual end time, thinking they had until end of day on the 19th. You don't need to insult people for making human mistakes.

LOL knew this would happen. In before the only moderator in this forum shuts this thread down too. The real question is now long it will take HG to roll over and just give up on any deadline for this ship. FOMO makes folks crazy cuz if it isn't for the last minute nothin gets done, or after the last minute. And paying attention and reading is for sissies. Information on this ship was all over the internet, a real first for HG and still...

hehe, I was the same, claimed it straight away, but didn't actually confirm that it was in the QS trader's inventory until a couple days ago.

Yep, and that was further confused by the fact that they used military time rather than standard A.M./P.M. designators. It was pretty clear if you thought about what you were reading, given that the GMT was obviously in military time....but it was also pretty obvious it was going to cause some confusion.

That's par-for-the-course for Hello Games though. They often don't do a great job of being crystal clear when they communicate. I think that's a side effect of the fact that they so rarely communicate, so they probably do not have a dedicated (i.e. properly trained) staff member for "community interaction" like some studios.

@Jaggid Edje: all true... but even then you know there will ALWAYS be later comers, regardless of notice clarity

Oh, quite true. I would bet money on the fact that quite a few of the people complaining did read the notice within a day or two of it being posted.

There are some people that just always put things off until they are out of time. And then they waste more time complaining about it because they "Didn't have the time" then what it would have taken them to just have done it right away when they heard of it.
