Yeah well I have been doing that since 4 days actually. No luck yet. Dizzy from jumping from system to system,😊
Also normally when I enter a system I check every corner. Never met a Lava planet yet.
I didn't mean physically jump to each one, I just meant going through the systems on the Discoveries tab on the pause screen. If you landed on a planet, you can just mouse over it to see what was on it.
I just had some basalt the other day, but I'm not in Euclid, so portal codes won't help. If my connection was faster, I'd meet you in the Anomaly & just give you some, but I don't have the bandwidth for that.
Good luck.
go to Materials & Items
Select Raw Materials
click on Basalt and "locate substance"
it will set a waypoint in the galaxy map to get to the closest system with basalt
That's correct. I assumed they hadn't, since Basalt only has 1 use at this point.
Edit: I stand corrected, Basalt is unlocked by default
fecha de la visita 15/11/2024
The only caveat is that it does require a refiner with at least 2 input slots.
I stand corrected. I didn't think the exotics were included in that.

To confirm, in Euclid?
In a new save, I used the Catalog to pin a search for Basalt. This image is what I see:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3386898365 There are six planets in this system, none of them are Volcanic biomes and none of them have Basalt. You don't really get pointed to Basalt until you've actually found some once.
By contrast, this is what I see in my Main Save when I use the Calatolg search:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3386905379 And, indeed, there's a Marker and a Current Mission path in the Galaxy Map.
Brand new save, I haven't even left the starter planet yet, and this is what I get when Basalt is pinned:

And once I do get into space, this is what I get on the galaxy map:

In other words, it works just fine without having found Basalt previously. As I said previously in the thread. Either you do in fact have a volcanic planet in that system in your first screenshot and you just missed it, or your game is broken.
