Polished Stone, I finally found it...

I found a moon of a gas giant, it's type is "The Reliquary".

It's covered with ruined structures.

It has bizarre memory stones that give recipes for Polished Stone structure pieces.

Yep. Whilst the structures are pretty much all over the place, they vary quite a lot in terms of how many memory stones. One I visit regularly has them literally every few yards. Also has salvageable scrap all over the place too, as a bonus!

Also, in addition to The Reliquary, you can also find them on planets classified as Abandoned Paradise, Abandoned Desert and Dusty Relic. And... I think several flavours of worlds with Ruins/Ruined in the name.

There are 12 blueprints to collect, and then any further ones give you nanites. Which is very nice of them.

I don't think these planets are that rare. They are actually pretty common around some systems. I've come across dozens of them myself and I don't really even visit that many planets anymore these days, TBH.

But you found a particularly beautiful planet, OP! The contrasts between that bright orange color and the blue-ish? color of the stone is GORGEOUS. I have never actually come across a ruined planet as colorful or pretty as that one.

I found a few of them. I like using the totem one for base expansion. Sure a little more expensive but it is a visible guide to where you need it to go.

I'm currently tootling around a particularly nice one of these right now. A lot of very large structures, which I haven't seen so much. Is the abandoned paradise moon of a Contoured Giant planet.

Edit: Liked it so much, I set up a base there. Underneath a huge boomerang shaped outcrop, that had stunning views of the Giant my moon orbits :)

That's substantially different from "polished stone all over the place" wherever you find bones.

Sure, defeating the bone guardians can reward Polished Stone, but bones are not exclusively found on Reliquary planets (where Polished Stone is natively found and is harvestable without combat).
A bit like defeating Corrupted Sentinels can reward Atlantideum, but Corrupted Sentinels are not exclusively found on Dissonant planets (where Atlantideum is natively found and is harvestable without combat).
