Kind of like Minecraft.
Also:
More planet types.
Waterfalls.
Acid and lava pools.
Animal nests.
And rivers.
Add to that preventing grass and other non-destructible vegetation from growing through the floor.
You're asking a lot here.
Also the weather effects not to apply inside vehicles cabins IE doesnt get misty inside.
Abbandoned towns? people could loot those places and fight all kinds of enemies. And who knows pleople could use these places as a pvp or pve location.
But the planets look spectacular overall. I don't think they need more stuff. Just more refinment, Stuff like not having palm looking trees on 200 C fiery planets. Other than that again I have to congratulate Hello Games on delivering a game that most of us could only have dreamed of.
- Sentinel ship crafting
- Owning & managing a space station
- Piloting your freighter & actively participating in freighter battles
- Or at least piloting a frigate
- More freighter customization options
- Making pets useful, like being able to "upgrade" them and use as mounts (in a better way than in existing gameplay)
- Multiple player ships & exocrafts
- More boss fights in space
I can dig up all six keys and the chest, blindfolded, at any ruins.
I can loot all six boxes at any land-crashed freighter, blindfolded.
I can loot the salvaged tech at any Two-Hut location, blindfolded.
They need to re-do all the POI. Not just add more, re-do the ones we have, that are all exactly the same.
Hello Games exclusively focuses on graphics but I don't remember they mentioned sound effect overhaul or new sound effects, new music once.
Another gripe I have with this game is its lame UI design. The dialogues, the messages. It makes you lose so much time. Just waiting for the text to appear slowly (I know I can make it faster by clicking but I don't want to click everytime a dialog box appears) is life draining ... It can be more intuitive and efficient.
Location markers are not easy to spot, they disappear and lost in the interface.
The space minimap is so badly designed, I keep tumbling down in space several times to be able to spot planets, POIs and markers.
I just want golf course construction and a golf game for our bases.
And the ability to buy any un-owned space station, or to build one in a system that doesn't have a space station, to provide a sink for those un-spendable billions of units. Make purchase cost of a space station prohibitively high -- 25 Billion units should do it. Make it so any player who enters the system and wants to visit the space station has to visit MY space station, since it's the only space station in the system. Limit saves to any arbitrary number of space stations owned by one player, (say, ten) so that griefing by house-bound people with colostomy bags and no life isn't possible -- and people with infinite money-making tricks up every sleeve -- don't end up owning every system we see.
Let us build bases on these space stations, and enable all the same limitations or allowances that we have with other base building types. Let us be able to sell these owned stations to other players, for whatever price we want to set.
But no bugs? Ha! No. Those are part of the charm.
Oh and I still want Link's paraglider.
If we can be chased by random space-bound bandits who scan our precious cargo, the same should also happen with planet-bound, on-foot (or even vehicular) bandits.
OMG there's no wheeled vehicular bandits. This needs to change.
Also the ability to snap-rotate the triangle along its parallel axis. (the triangle I mean is the one that fits under regular stairs. You can't rotate it so it's upside-down without going into free mode and winging it.)
Also the ability to re-size all the ridiculously, irrationally large objects -- like portals that don't fit in a normal wood, stone, or metal room without sticking three inches up through the ceiling, but only fit the fab rooms. Or like the -- OMGWTF ALREADY
