Change camera view from 1st to 3rd

Anyone know if there a way to make a single button on a xbox controller change camera views? Like make an extra command on B button with a long press to change camera views from 1st to 3rd person view. Tried going into setting and steam controller option yet when I try to bind a button for that while on foot there no option for that.

the only way i know of is to bind it to a key on the keyboard... i always set the 1st/3rd swap to 0 (zero) by hovering over it in the quick menu and hitting CTRL-0 (zero)... i don't know what button on a controller i would use because they're generally all in use for me... note that this has to be done for each of the modes of operation, On Foot, Flying, and Driving (exocraft)...

which is why I wanted to use the B button but only when you press in down for awhile which I know you can do on stream yet doesnt give me a option to assign it to the camera 1st/3rd person toggle besides it being use in the menu.

Your going to need to bind it like wkitty42 said on one of the numeric 0~9
Then via Steam Input add a secondary command to the B button and when you are presented with option move that selection tab over to kb/ or num pad.
Select the number you hotkey'ed.
Make B a long press in the options.

this may not be what you want but if you go into your menu , down on the d-pad go to the and you can change the view there. i think its in the setting section but cant be sure i just do third person in games with good looking characters and creation , i mean whats the point of putting time in creating and upgrading your characters armor if you dont see it ? this is just the way i look at it.
