Gas Giant Base Shifts?

So just checking if it's just me, but both Bases I set up on Gas Giants seemed to have shifted like 20 feet Downwards, I can Stand in the Underground Cavern House I made & SEE the Cavern it Fit into while Floating in the Gas Giants Bright Yellow Atmosphere.

Anyone else get this today or am I just the lucky winner of A Balls Crazy Base?

not Complaining really, if anything the Base is Called Crazy Dave's Home Sweet Crazy Home, so if I can somehow manage to keep building, it may be something rally Bonkers.

I noticed this one too. I moved the affected base up to compensate for the terrain shift.

I don't know about gas giants but I have run into something similar in the past when building around generated structures like a trade port or minor settlement. The structure and the flat zone around it would shift leaving my base above or below ground by 20 or 30u.

The update was because players who are fishing couldn't catch Large or Collosal fish on Gas Giants. They made the water a bit deeper on gas giants and dropped the depths in which large and collosal fish could spawn. They now spawn in shallower waters on gas giants and thats why you see bases dropping underground.
I placed a beacon before the update, after the update.. I could still see it but I couldn't retrieve it lol. It's now stuck in the ground forever.

Aha! a worthy tradeoff I suppose for the greater good.

Besides, I like seeing every tunnel System for Miles inside my own Yellow Sun environment, there's an EM Generator & I can just do A Quick Hops out of A Rabbit hole I'm going to build from the new Relics bits like some knockoff from Bugs Bunny Cartoons & be in the planets surface within that Cave.

Crazy Dave's is going to be crazy, just wait till I set up the Tanning Salon!

I am “riding on coattails” in a purple system doing Titans and everybody’s bases are FLOATING about 100 units up!!!
The ones with landing platforms are a godsend- but not sure how to access a few of the other “goodies” that are “floating”- like a crashed ship I was going to land at etc. live and learn!!!!
