People either complain that there are no updates, or that there are too many updates.
Updates are always a good thing. I even use mods and don't care about updates, thanks to the exml system now.
How does this game anger you so much? Do you play on 56k?
If they had waited until it had ended they could have tested more, hopefully nailing at least some of the bugs that we have had, and would not have had to deal with any weird interactions between the update and expedition. ( Eg the blocked stage 3 portal.)
In effect they have doubled their work. Not only are they trying to fix bugs in the update, which is obviously welcome, but they have also had to resolve the various additional issues with the expedition, including extending it.
OK its easy to type in hindsight but I honestly hope they don't do this again and only release updates on solid code-bases, not temporary ones like the cursed expedition.
