Hello Everyone,

Thank you to everyone playing No Man’s Sky – Worlds Part II, especially those taking the time to report any issues they encounter via Zendesk or console crash reporting.

We are listening closely to your feedback, and have identified and resolved a number of issues. These fixes are included in patch 5.54, which is now live on Xbox and will be coming to other platforms as soon as possible.



Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue that could cause players to be sent to a system with all extreme planets during In Stellar Multitudes.
Fixed an issue that could prevent the Assembled Construct from being visible during In Stellar Multitudes.
Fixed an issue that could cause some plants and minerals to fail to appear on the discoveries list after being scanned.
Fixed an issue that caused empty star systems to generate too many synthetic lifeforms.
Fixed an issue that could make catching some fish very difficult on gas giants.
Fixed a rare crashed related to navigation.
Fixed a crash that could occur when playing the PS4 version of the game on PlayStation 5.
Fixed a crash specific to Xbox.
Fixed an issue that could cause framerates to be choppy on Xbox.
Fixed an issue which caused visual issues while warping on Intel based Macs.
Fixed an issue which caused visual issues when DRS and GTAO were both enabled on Macs with Apple Silicon.


We will continue to release patches as issues are identified and resolved. If you experience any issues, let us know by submitting a bug report.

DLSS still crashes the game. ridiculous
Was able to fight the Walker tonight.

Go to the : C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA\NGX\models and delete all files inside the models folder.

Next open the game, the DLSS will regenerate these files when you start the game again.

Consider, overriding the DLSS to the lastest on the app nvidia, because the game uses DLSS2, and via driver, the lastest is the better

Surprisingly, other than a crash to desktop about 20 minutes into the initial update, I have not had a wisp of trouble. But I have avoided trying to build a nest or get in the face of foes.

I guess I did actually build a very small nest on a craig on a water world. Fun as hell using my exocraft to jump to the water.

Yes that closest craig in the background is where I sent my exocraft violently off of.

hehe, I found a similar planet myself.... Took a while to find a flat enough piece of land to summon the nomad, but launching off the peaks was good fun
Nomad briefly under water is very cool, in the event it gets forced under surface.

Merged/Collided planet have the effect of changing the Horizontal Plane and your Nomad will stay underwater traveling away from the cojoined water planets. FYI :steamthumbsup:
