Game Won't Launch (Linux Mint)

I hit "play" or I try to open the game, it acts like it's going to, then just won't.

Like, if I'm in my Library and I hit the green PLAY button, it'll just go blue and say "launching" then right back to the green PLAY button.

It's as if it opens for like, a fraction of a second then closes.

Any ideas?

Try going with non-experimental Proton -- I'm playing on Mint with a RTX 3060 without overriding the Proton version. If you really need experimental, try temporarily enabling logging (I suggest Googling it) to see if there's something obviously missing. Finally, try setting the selected launch option to "Ask" under Properties.
