Usually, it's a world with only one animal or so if we talk about missions.
To find it faster, try to see the name of the community bases in Teleporter and warp there if it's available.
But in general, if I understand correctly it's anything that is not usual.

Assuming similar statistics elsewhere, I'd say, it would take less than one evening to find another 3, if looking only for them. Two evenings if one is like a cat with ball of string tossed by the nose (or an empty box) when noticing "paradise"...
(And that by a noob on the starting galaxy.)
In 3rd system you portal to, there's a world labeled as 'cabled' - it has only 1 fauna and it counts as cabled worlds = exotic.
Little bit less sure because of fuzzy memory, but as I recall, in 4th system there is world labeled as 'forsaken' and the fauna on their counts as exotic.
