Can´t find portal in Eissentam

i am trying to locate a portal location for a while now. i spend more than 15 of the alien carts from the space station vendor. but each time i find a monolith and i answer the riddle correctly the only things i get are new words, weapon updates or even a multitool but never a portal location.
i have found several portals before in euclid and it took me maybe 2-3 tries to find one.
is there something different in Eissentam? i used the space anomaly to transfer to a players base, and now i want to go to a special planet
i am not on the current expedition, although i have been one of the players who were stuck in phase 3 because they could not localize the correct portal

Nope. It works the same in all galaxies. You're not asking it the 2nd time for the portal.

After you correctly answer the riddle you have to interact with the monolith a second time to get the Portal location. It's worked this way for a few years now. You probably just forgot the second part.

boy I remember just having to fly around the planets keeping my eyes open trying to spot them..... barefoot... in the snow... uphill, both ways...

I remember when I had to feed all sorts of odd and varied things to it and usually had to kick the pedestal a few times to get it to work. If you got a glyph wrong, you had to start over from scratch. Then we had to walk or build a an exocraft on the other side because your ship didn't bother to join you. You couldn't stay on the other side. You had to go back. I blame the stinky Gek for that.
