No Man's Sky

No Man's Sky

Vezi statistici:
No water worlds or relic planets
I completed the Autophage quest line and unlocked purple systems. I have found many gas giant systems but in almost 18 hours of play have not found a water world and there are no ruins/relics on "abandoned" planets.

Try your luck near 6000LY to the center.
only 17 trillion more systems to check.

Water world was the one i was really interested in, so once i figured out what the Atlas was talking about i asked it to send me to a water system.

I dont know why it asked me for a secondary planet type though, as i only visited the one to finish the quest.
Relic worlds can be in any system color.

Water worlds are only in purple systems.

In the galaxy map when you click on a purple system, if it has a gas giant the system information box should say so. Also when it shows the planets orbiting the star you should see one really big planet. If it doesn't show that and the system has a gas giant then something is wrong.

When you jump into a system look for a planet that has Lithium as a resource. I found my first one in the third system. If you have checked more that 10 and there is no lithium then something is wrong.
Also make sure you're visiting purple systems and not blue systems, it's quite difficult to tell the difference depending on the background light/fog effects when you're on the default star colour filter list.
really cause I'm currently on one and its very deep , causes my o2 to drain rapidly even with the mod for deep water on and using the sub.

It works the same way as extreme weather so just use a couple membrane's and its fine.

So much this.

I have two mods installed that fix the issue, though. galaxy map now has zero colored fog, and the stars are perfectly easy to distinguish the colors from each other.
RNG is rude sometimes.

It isn't necessary - all purple systems have stellar classes beginning with a X or a Y, as described on the wiki page for Purple Coloured Systems. (technically the one for system colours, but the Purple Systems section is what I was refering to)
Why would someone go to the wiki to find something they didnt know they were looking for?

Much better to just adjust the galaxy map so its more clearly defined. Same can probably be done with the accessibility > colourblind options (im not colourblind, but they may still help), but i haven't tried them out yet.

I actually dont have too much trouble telling blue and purple apart, but i struggle with all the default ones. Funnily enough as soon as you change the filter to race/conflict/economy the star colours are super distinct.

Yes, but I was specifically talking about the X/Y stellar classes, not the wiki. But yes, colourblind options will probably help with colour distinction such as blue vs purple or red vs purple. They should have made them white stars to be most distinguishable from other colours.

Maybe I have an upgrade that allows it, but if I hover over a system in the G map it tells me it is a Gas Giant system. My first purple system had both a gas giant and a water world. My luck has run the other ways to OP. I keep finding Water worlds and came across a Relic World.

I haven't had a chance to get back to one of my bases, but you get Relic parts you can build. Probably going to be kind of dumb...like the broke ship parts you can build.

It's a default thing, i've just noticed it now. It was the 20-30th system i looked at but yes it says "gas giant" in place of disonant.

Water worlds dont, but every purple system i visit (lol 2) has had a water world in it. Not the greatest sample size i know :D
