Get yourself a neutron cannon (including the upgrade blueprint from the weapon tech trader on the anomaly) and 3 S class upgrades...
you'll kill the big corrupt quads in 1-4 shots...

depending on your MT, you'll get 50-120k damage potential

so has to be done alone and not in a group ?

No idea? I don't play multiplayer...
But the task is ridiculously easy using an upgraded neutron cannon...
The minotaur makes it even easier imo

Get it, install the cannon, a few upgrades for said cannon, then blast away.

The best thing about the minotaur for this particular expo is that its environmental protection makes so you don't get bothered by the annoying flying squids, the jump jets on it also make it extremely mobile in a fight.

Plus every tech in it is powered by carbon, the easiest thing to get, install the laser on it as well and in about 5 minutes in a mildly wooded area you'll have carbon enough for days.

And a simple tip to fight sentinels, corrupted or not: Every time you destroy one they drop a lil canister right? you can shoot this canister to "open" it, and it refills some of your shields, so make a point to shoot the things whenever you can

Imo, the minotaur is way too slow in it's movement for dealing with groups of enemies...
It's much better to keep it as AI backup (if you bother with it at all)

if it is not an Anomaly Nexus mission, if someone else kills them, they get the credit... not you... co-op in NMS is not co-op as in other games... co-op in NMS is "playing solo together"... but it depends on exactly what is being done...

You can even use your starship cannons against them. Just be ready to escape interceptors.

It walks slow yes, but I barely ever walk with a minotaur, the jump jets move you quickly and fill back up extremely fast, so you can keep using them non-stop pretty much

So I just use that to extend away and not get surrounded while I continuously blast them, makes it pretty easy for me at least.

Sure the boost is fine for traversing distances, but are you suggesting that you hop around during a fight? I found that even less fun than dealing with the slow movement...

I'll stick to using my own MT and destroying everything just as quickly, but with decent movement...
I agree with Shadow Strider ~ on the Neutron Cannon. I was stuck with the Pulse splitter and did them ranged.

I agree with Gerustroncio ~ Just using the Cannon none stop and leap frogging over them. You have to have "Raging Amy" skills!

I agree with ignis ~ find a dissonant moon and you can skim the planet surface looking for the Drill rigs and easily spot the Quads and rip them up.

Mostly I recommend setting up a Custom Keymap for your controller.

And remove the damned fishing rig from your MT. I kept trying to fish one to death. LOL Maybe should have set up some pots.

I tried the neutron cannon and it seems pretty terrible, so i went back to geology cannon.

did you get all the upgrades like I told you too?

Once upgraded it's the most op weapon in the game...
You'll kill yourself with geology canon, but the AoE from the Neutron Cannon cannot hurt you, you can shoot your own feet risk free...

My recently deleted save had nearly 140k damage potential with the NC...
Corrupt quads usually died in 2 hits, sometimes 1

Sentinel quads on max difficulty, with "A" or "S" class mods enhancing the Neutron Cannon and you can shoot the quad once, then use your Paralysis Mortar (right-click) to stun it. Now shoot it once more and it's dead and you took zero damage. Don't forget to collect your loot.

PS Do NOT put the Neutron Cannon in a supercharged slot unless you have zero upgrades for it and only if the P-Compressor is already in a different SS
