Think i have realised i am done. Its obviously not my kind of game.
The endless repetition of fetch tasks is just not a game play loop i am interested in.
I have have actually fallen asleep and rammed my ship into the ground countless times.
That in itself should make me do something else
Well if the developer team of New World had more sense than a cage full of monkeys, that would matter.
But they dont
Some of your options could be:
Find another hobby (I'm not saying just give up gaming, I mean in addition)
Learn a language
Learn a new skill (I learned how to brew my own beer)
Read that book you've been meaning to
Learn to cook your girlfriends/boyfriends favorite dish (and cook it well)
Start hanging out at a local spot where other people share your interests
Go to the coffee shop, just sit at a table, sip on your coffee, and people-watch
Head to your local pub
Volunteer in the community
You are not alone...
cool, thanks for the update
And that speaks more volumes than Britannica.
Not trying to be mean or judgy here, BUT: If you are the kind of person who needs a game to hold your hand through a whole story line, and basically tell you how to play the game the entire time, this game just might not be for you.
If you don't have an active imagination, and an ability to keep yourself entertained outside of the game, your not gonna do it inside this game either.
I never get board in this game. Some days I just go out and shoot Space Potatoes for a few hours, sometimes Im on an adventure to find a certain kind of planet, sometimes Im building a TechHut, sometimes Im building a Roman Villa, sometimes Im on a fishing adventure... the only limits this game has is the players imagination... so... yea.
Have you tried building a base? I find that gives a lot of value to the game. I like to go exploring and bring home things for my base.
