Wrong game for PvP. Not even sure you can find PvP in NMS. It's not a thing. Yes you can do it but you have to find peeps that want to, there's no factions to belong to so if PvP is on you just hurt anyone you do damage too, even your best buddy. No leaderboards, nothing.

MP is rudimentary. It's basically playing alone with friends and half the time screws everything up if you are questing. DO NOT buy this game if PvP is what you are looking for. Well, you can but don't complain here. You have been warned.

PvP isn't for no man's sky, MP isn't rudimentary, just really buggy.
It's still a great PvE game with combat against pirates, system authorities and even hostile plants.

The multiplayer actually doesn't work AT ALL. If you wanna play with friends you will be very frustrated even trying to connect to their games

I never had any real issues with playing multiplayer. Just some terrain edits not syncing properly among us when one of my friends was trying to build an underground base. It works fine in general.
