Bug quest stellar multitude
hello!

I don't know if it did that to you, but for me, by planting the seed of Atlantis in an atlas interface, and after answering these questions, I have nothing.
I asked for an aquatic world, with horror and I don't know what, and nothing happened after that.
I still have the mission "plant a seed in the atlas interface". And after traveling to another atlas station, this one only offers me to analyze, fauna, flora, etc.
no system appeared, nothing.

Did I miss something, or did the quest annoy me? No way to restart it?

Thanks

I cant remember the mission steps exactly, but did you pulse in space to meet the giant Autophage again?
Multiple "In Stellar Multitudes" softlocks have been fixed on the experimental branch. Try swapping over to see if that fixes it for you.
I progressed this quest while joining my wife's session. The star was created via the quest step. I created the drive via the quest step. On the step to travel to the new location, my wife was able to select and travel the new star, Arorduru V. I was not. The star does not appear in my map, though the quest indicator does. In my own session at the same location, I have the same issue. I am unable to progress the quest and have no means to reset the quest. I am sad.

Just a note for those who don’t realize - whatever “restored” system you get is almost certainly *not* the same system as someone else. Mine - which I also can’t seem to locate - is called something like “Hochuu”
I started the quest in multiplayer and restored a system and gave up when I figured out I needed to make a new drive.

I came back to singleplayer and realized that I was ejected completely away from my destination and there's no way to reset the mission.

Concur ~ in an attempt to help. I loaded up a save and know exactly where it is and how to see it.. I'm not soft locked.. Galactic Coordinates are buried in the raw json viewed in the save editor.

I bet Geldric™ could help figure out how to re roll the mission back to just meeting the Space Autophage to mission ""^PURPM1""

The "problem" - Lost first created purple system

Seems like the key "FirstPurpleSystemUA" is where data is stored on your "created" 1st system. Here is the data obtained from FIVE different saves that completed the mission

1147890195506215
1103913929047373
1145695370902860
1101710698527156
1146790692043188

If anyone knows how to translate that 16 digit number into a galactic address, otherwise
-----------------
As @Prescient Stones knows, I do love a challenge. So give me a bit to review my data on this step of the mission (yes, I already collected it ;) )

I've subbed to this thread
1103909708955646

Here's another,
One I've got queued. Gas Giant, Vy'Keen, Zealous Sentinels.

Galactic web sourced translators show 1103 as "Invalid".

No chance to just portal in.

I was thinking of data injection to the .json and see if the log updates the mission parameters, ie name of system and other stats. Can't find the .json key that make this translate to the text we read. :steamsad:
:steamthis: yeah, didn't think it was much help :(
What if the primary mission was set to
"^PURPM1"
and write
"HasDiscoveredPurpleSystems":false,
"HasGalacticMapRequestAllPurples":false,
"HasGalacticMapRequestFirstPurple":true

Originally posted by Geldric™:
During my testing, when you set this key HasGalacticMapRequestFirstPurple to "true", the game behaves exactly like when you are playing thru the ISM mission and have just "unlocked" your new system via the Atlas interface and once you leave, Yabli-a immediately asks you about it. You "show galaxy map" and there is an animation to show your new purple star forming.

Edit: Oh this goes without saying... but
NEVER do story missions while in Co-op(1)

The "fix"
This will RESET the "In Stellar Multitudes" mission back to the point of having to "Sideload" the memories into an Atlas Station.

Note: during testing, I used the same Atlas station and it worked fine

Using the Save Editor, change the "PROGRESS" number of the following key to "21"
PURPM1

Using the Save Editor, change the "PROGRESS" number of the following keys to "-1"
PURPM2
PURPM3

Using the Save Editor, change the entry in the following key to "0"
FirstPurpleSystemUA

EDIT: Using the Save Editor give your self the PRODUCT "Memories of the Atantid"

Apologies for the delay, I had to revise my test save, he started as orange/blue

(1) As an alternative - Start a co-op session so that you both are in the same system but then "leave group" so any missions will be progressed as your own.
