Can not summon any pets after recent Update
I can't summon any pets after recent Update on any planets. I push X button and try to summon my pets, but it shows a red curve line to the ground and the warning that I can not summon pets.

Also I have problem after Update that the largest robot boss don't spawn at stage 5 sentinel attack.

And the attack-warehouse quests have bug too that stuck at 0/0 and can't be finished even after I destroy all the warehouses.

Can someone help?

I am having the same problem with pets not being able to get summoned. No matter where I go or aim the line, I keep getting the message "Cannot summon companions here."

I was having the problem of the big Sentinel Walker (the one that looks like a AT-ST/chicken walker from Star Wars) but that problem seems to be resolved with one of the later updates.

And as for the planetary depot mission, I haven't run into that issue at all.

All summoning and building is bugged since Worlds Part 2, sometimes it will affect Exocraft summoning, Pet summoning, base building etc.
The game seems to lose track of the position of the ground.
Usually a save and reload will temporarily fix it.
The sentinel walker issue is also known, and may even be related.

As smurfy stated, this also applies to base parts, refiners, signal boosters, etc. Literally anything you can place.

Exiting the game and restarting fixes this. I believe the issue occurs if you reload a save at any point. May also occur when first going into an expedition or have other causes I'm not sure of...
I haven't yet had any issues with base parts, but I did have that hiermit crab summon issue.

And last night I tamed another creature on a planet, just out in the open, not water, and it has a similar blank-pet box/can't summon. Not quite the same symptoms but the end result of can't summon is the same. Other pets I've tamed simce W2 worked ok tho. Hit and miss I guess? Or older vs. newer version of animals (Worlds vs. previous) perhaps?

I've had the base glitch, but not the pet summoning -so far. The base glitch is just a simple save > quit to menu > open save again. No idea what initiates it though.
I probably just haven't run in base parts thing because I only build mini-bases, if I build one at all (often I just leave base computer-teleporter as a marker and that's it).

I forgot tho -I did run into the "can't place, invalid location" issue trying to do even that recently. Exit/reload fixed it, as already mentioned.

Exit/reload doesn't fix the pets tho. At least not for me.
I did just have the no Sentinel Walker issue again. Two times I got to level 5 on Sentinels and I took out everything else, but no walker spawned, and it said 0 remaining units left. After the second time of the Sentinels giving up because there was none left to detect me, I tried setting up my Signal Booster to find a nearby building but got the Invalid Position bug where it was clipping through everything. I saved, quit out of the game, started it up again, and was able to place the Signal Booster correctly and a Walker dropped in. Perhaps the clipping bug that happens to pets and base items is also hitting the Walker, or it might be unrelated bugs that all get resolved the same way.

TLDR: If you get these bugs, try saving the game, quitting all the way out, and starting the game up again.
