white screen and crash

I just reinstalled nms due to the new update but i get a white screen that sits there for a few seconds and then nms crashes. i do have previous saves in the game which i heard was the problem and a ultra wide screen monitor if that is a problem


geforce RTX 4060 with 31 gb ram


UPDATE: I updated my driver and it changed the white screen to a black screen which pops up for a second and goes away for a sec then comes back only to crash. Ive tried restarting,messing with files to change the in-game graphics settings and just straight up deleting and reinstalling. none of this makes sense pls help T-T

same; lateste Nvidia drivers
RTX 4090 w/ 32 gb RAM

Uninstalled, restarted; re-install. no joy

For me it helped when i changed the dlss files in nms. I take the new dlss files from Cyberpunk. Since then it runs very smooth.

MIne WAS working, just earlier today. No updates to video drivers or game, and now it's giving me the white screen.

Id try that trick but will I need cyberpunk downloaded to get those files? if so maybe there is another game with updated dlss files, and even so shouldnt they have updated the dlss files anyway with this new update? Either way thank you a bunch for the tip. im getting hangry now

Confirm that it works. Even frame gen works and doesn't crash anymore. Link below to only the dlss files if you don't have cyberpunk. (copy into steamapps\common\No Man's Sky\Binaries)

thank you for sending a safe file lol but im sad to say it did not work still the same black screen. possibly i did something wrong but i threw those files into the "binaries" folder of nms, which said the files i was adding were the same as what was in there so i selected "replace" and booted up the game to that dang black screen T-T

Strange. Maybe it works only on some configurations? Fixed it completely for me. Maybe try and use the files from a game you have installed on your drive (and works with dlss and frame gen) and see if those do the trick?

"Delete everything in "C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA\NGX\models", DLSS will regenerate these files when its next used."

Yes! This fixed the flawed frame generation for me. Even after rolling the drivers back the problem persisted.
