Bro. I mean this in the most polite way possible ..... please go outside and get some air. This actually frightens me. OMFG
If you are bored with a game, i have a hint. Become a game hopper. Don't play one game for 8000 hours, play 8 games for 1000 hours and you never get bored.
I really like collecting and building ships and both are not possible in Abandoned mode. This makes me sad.
I'm good with my time. I'm outside 365 days of every year, cycling, hiking, backpacking, skiing, running, or just walking my dogs. Telling me to go outside is hilarious. ...but you don't know me at all, so I get it.
Where would the ships come from if the systems are abandoned?
You can build ships, the ones you find that crashed. It takes effort... a lot more effort, which is the point.
To me it makes sense, but share how you think it would be better.
What's missing is the ship building station. Since that is automated anyway, it could as well be a part of some abandoned space stations.
I'm not sure what there is to explain about wanting ship building to be available.
I would like to know why you enjoy it so much because i have been thinking of making a new run, and maybe ill try it out.
Thanks for any info.
If you don't, it's not for you.
But what to do? No Npc's means no quests, trade, stations, pets, or organic life right?
I still dont get it
I wasn't in the meetings when they decided to employ the original bare bones style of abandoned space stations, so I don't know why they chose them. Perhaps they'll change that in an update. That would make finding a better multi-tool far easier, too.
For my game play it's good as is, but can certainly see the value for those interested in modifying ships.
I'm simply very careful as to which crashed ships I'll pick up, and stick with the starter ship for as long as needed. On my second go at this I found a great heavy fighter, but on my current save RNG hasn't been as kind, but also I'm not focused on ships quite yet.
'Quests' and 'trade' are superficial anyway.
All the wildlife are still on the planets. No NPCs. If you're into finding planets, and setting up a base in every galaxy (which is what I'm doing) then nothing about that is diminished with this game mode. It offers a new, and harder way to get that done. It's a challenge.
