freighter build menu is blank

So I have a friend who is having this issue. We're not sure what's going on or how to potentially fix it. He's new-ish. We've tried verifying, restarting resummoning etc. I've given him a couple modules so he could unlock rooms and he's done that but his build menu is still blank, and yes this is inside the construction area.

just to keep this alive im having the same issue now and cant find an answer to it anywhere. no matter what i seem to try i cant seem to get anything to show in the build menu. even restarting isnt helping because what that is doing is causing pre generated rooms to spawn and whats weird is they are changing. its a diff room every time i change and i cant alter or add to it. this along with not having options in my build menu. if it helps, i havent picked up the game in years till yesterday.

Unless you have the salvaged frigate deals I am not sure how much you can see. What is being described sounds wrong. I would turn off MP and see it that calms it. Mods, out of date, can also be a major problem that shows up like you are describing.

Played 4600+ hours and never have a problem with two successive machines. and never a blip. I do know MP can cause massive issues, that don't seem like they would be MP related.

There is an option to reset your freighter base at terminal with upgrades, try it

The freighter reset thing worked like a charm ^_^ i was half afraid if lose the inventory i stored in it but honestly it still woulda been worth it to be able to use such a primary function xD. Now i just gotta figure out how to stop those sentinal frieghters from going invisible on me in wave 5 of the attacks uwu well do far its only happened once but we shall see!
All the same thanks i have been trying to figure that out all over the place and never did i find anything close to an answer till now besides the good ol tried and true reset game/pc

if you are near some planet those tend to turn invisible, Start fight on further away from planets it might solve issue.
