has anyone gotten Quartzite?
I did the new Quest line and the "In Stellar multitudes" mission, my created Purple system only has Activated Quartzite.
Has anyone found any fixes for this?

Have you been to every planet in your system? I found it easily .. both Activated and normal .. yet to find gas planet .. ( but I had to log off so )

I assume you chose a Gas Giant and that's why you're getting the activated variant; constant storms.

Go to a different planet in the system with normal weather.

No I went with Water depths, I only have 2 planets and they both have Activated.
I think it's because I chose stormy weather.

Yeah stormy weather is what's giving the activated variant. Both planets is unlucky. Until they release a patch for this sort of softlock, you could try the save editor if it's been updated.
My first purple system has two planets and two moons. Both the regular and activated quartzite are available in that system. If you don't see regular quartzite in your first system, I recommend looking in another purple system.

There are no other purple systems until the quest is done.

Exactly, So I'm stuck unless someone gives me regular, I've searched around and I'm not the only one with this problem.
I chose the uncharted+water+stormy options, but there were four planets in my first purple system and one of the water worlds had non-activated and some tiny land patches to find it without nautilon/pressure membrane. But this sounds like an unintended consequence in the RNG if only 2 planets and both have extreme storms; you would be best sending a bug report on their official site about this. I suspect you won't be the only one with this scenario if they have not added a 'failsafe' to always have one non-extreme planet in that first purple system.

Oh I'm not the only one, and Lol we choose the same options. I guess I just got unlucky xD
After I posted earlier in this thread, it occurred to me that if your first system doesn't have regular quartzite, you won't be able to continue, which is exactly what has been described. And there doesn't appear to be any way to use a refiner to obtain quartzite.

Later tonight (USA Eastern time) I'll be able to jump into NMS and I could drop by your location and bring you enough quartzite to help you complete the objective.

Unfortunately I work during the night and sleep during the day, So most likely I'll be at work.

It isn't updated yet, but when it is you might be able to use this bot https://nomansapp.com/
You could also use a save editor.

I found mine on a moon in the same system as the gas giant.
