Will there be another patch soon?? Does anyone know?
EXACTLY.
Reading the instructions on that thing looks sketchy too. Relying on two other runtimes and a self-cert that needs to be installed too...?? NAH!
EDIT: Oh and the OTHER save editor mentioned requires installing JAVA. Dude, I am so sick of this kind of crap. Write self-contained programs. People just want to play a damn game, and when a 3rd-party tool is needed, they don't want to also install a pile of other crap to run it.
I'm not sure what you say you've done here.

How does one even USE coordinates in the game?
This worked for me, to maybe clarify these instructions a little: I created a backup of the entire save directory (lets call it Old) before opting into the Experimental build, then I completed the expedition (no issues with portals in the experimental build) and followed the steps outlined in OPs post. I then backed up the whole save directory again to a different folder (lets call it Exp) and opted out of the experimental build. I then replaced the main game save directory with the one from the "Old" folder then grabbed just the two files associated with my save from the "Exp" directory and overwrote them in the main game save directory. At the end of the day your entire save directory should be from before you opted into Experimental build EXCEPT for the 2 files associated with your save in which you completed the expedition. I can now load my save in regular build and I am at the end of the expedition ready to go to the anomaly and turn it in.
The coordinates were obtained by using the Signal Booster.
Ignore the stuff to the left of, and including, the first Colon (:) - thats the scanner id. Everything to the right of that can be converted into glyphs for use at portals via https://nmsportals.github.io/#tab-3 (select Galactic Coordinates).
More info about NMS galactic coordinates can be found here https://nomanssky.fandom.com/wiki/Galactic_Coordinates
Tip: Always carry enough materials to build a crude base with a powered teleporter just in case something goes wrong.
Thank you so much! I did not think to back up my save prior to installing the beta, which was admittedly careless, last back up was probably 2 months ago at least. These were the best directions I found to get back my pre-beta save. Life saver!
