OPTIMIZATION
What about optimization? After landing on the planet, fps was equal to 30, after returning to space it became 50. And it was 90 in all conditions (This is my limitation in the game itself). Video card - RTX 4060

Why you need optimization? This game is so beautiful now I can take it in a photo format! 1FPS is more than enough!

Performance definitely went down. rtx 3080, i7-10700kf, 32gb, Went from everything maxed plus DLAA at 1440p ultrawide easily 60+ fps, to a slideshow on some planets even switching over to DLSS.
One thing you may want to do is get the latest Nvidia drivers, that may help.

The best choice after any big update is to wait a few days until they conjure up a patch/fix.
Send the devs info to the Zendesk. Whinging here is pretty useless. Gotta remember, what were are now are beta testers for LNF and a fun time it is. Do your job, report stuff that doesn't work right. You know the drill by now, don'tcha?

Performance got better for me rtx3080 AMD Ryzen 7 3700 .. dlaa ultra 1440p
Same here. This is what always happens with an update and they rarely optimize it. Even when they do HG never addresses the issue. They just pretend it's not there.
Yeah I wish they'd do a tech patch, just tech improvements, no content. LOD is still ♥♥♥♥♥. 3 diff PC's, 3 diff mobos, 3 diff cards. LOD ♥♥♥♥ in all of them, regardless of settings combinations. Patches of grass/etc ALWAYS fail to load far away and half the time nearby ones are late rendering in. Half the settings still require a restart so you cannot tell as well how the difference is because you had to leave the client.
I let my geforce "experience" optimize NMS and it helped a lot. FPS isn't what it used to be but it's playable now. It used DLSS. Maybe try that. it might help.

Optimisation is fine. If you've got a decent CPU, the game can run even on intigrated graphics.

It's a CPU issue, not a GPU one. I used to play it on a 3050 aand it was still smooth.
Locking your FPS to a reasonable value (like 60) always helps a lot.

Exept also keep in mind that youll lose some performance if running the game on a 4060+PCIe 3 board.
It will alwas stutter on start and during Planet/space/spacestation-transitions then

bro i have 6700 xt i have 100 fps
I'm on a 3060ti + i7 9700k , 32 gb ram system + ssd. Fps are locked at 100, at 1440p, v-sync triple buffered + G-sync enabled, borderless screen. Video Settings to High except for textures and volumetric to Ultra and DLSS.
There are some occasional fps drops, but that's usually due to network lag.

Overall, the game runs pretty smooth as much as it was before the updated. Actually, it looks prettier than ever. The new light updates gives a very nice cinematic effect to graphics. All of it combined with the new assets, it is a beauty.

P.S. If u are using HDR, try to disable and see it goes better (mine is always disabled).
