Key resources/gear to bring to Aquarious expedition?
Hi, so i have not done this expedition before, but i was around last time it went live and saw ALLOT of negative posts about it, so i chose not to do it at that time, i was pretty new to the game then anyway, but since then i have done a few expeditions and understand how it all works now, so this time i would like to give it a go.

When it comes to the gear i can bring to an expedition from my main save, i got that down pretty good, but, there is always one thing or another i did not need to bring and one thing or another i wish i did bring, but mostly no big deal, since expeditions are doable with no gear brought over.

However, given the frustrations i have observed expressed about Aquarius in the past... i would like to sharpen the list of things to bring over, so, whats everyone's advice on that?

Salvaged Parts if you have any. You will need them for buying base parts. Plenty to dig up but might save some time. I brought a stack of oxy. It is useful since you are in the water a lot. Nanites- they are not really easy to shift over...but probably what I wanted the most starting out. Maybe Hadral Cores, mold, or other things that convert to nanites.

Honestly, the areas provide what you need when you need it. I just threw in a bunch stuff I usually like having but is harder to find. Cad, Indium, Emril, sodium nitrate, etc. Just think about what is a PITA to scrounge up on demand.

This is a pretty easy going expedition, so no need to fret. I picked up my Utopia Speeder at the first warp. It made life much easier.

As far as I remember, you don't need to bring anything at all.

The 'hard' part of the expedition was that the fish they wanted you to catch were too rare. There are baits that are supposed to make them easier to catch but the bait seemed to either not work or minimally increased the chances.

So you had to sit there and basically AFK for an hour on each planet until you caught what you needed for each of the milestones.

Edit: I'm guessing they've increased the odds or made bait better this time around. They usually tweak stuff like that for Redux expeditions.

So, i will probably want to bring a variety of basic foods that can be crafted into specific baits?
And yea, i have seen allot of posts about how bogus the percentages are on various baits, so yes, i hope they fixed it either by changing the percentages to what they really are, or changing the chances to what the percentages are.... either way of fixing that nonsense is good for me, as long as the information is made accurate.

Basic stuff, and yes salvage data, by now i am up to throwing 3 full stacks of it into my expeditions.... it runs out STAGGERINGLY fast when doing just a little tiny bit of shopping at the anomaly.... just like real life money at the supermarket these days, ugghh.
I'm making a stack of bionic lures to bring over
Update, finished the expedition, bionic lures worked fantastic.... but there are a few times you have to fish with no bait - the note bottles for example, so keep that in mind.

For nanites on any expedition except "Adrift", I bring some "suspicious package (arms)". I brought 35 of those this time. I open them, sell the upgrades and have plenty for my multi-tool, ship, and to spend foolishly at the exosuit upgrade vendors.

I brought a stack of 50 of all three types of suspicious packages. They are definitely worth it, but for nanites i bring 9999 stack of tainted metal.
