Is it possible to get an S Class settlement?
I've finally maxed out all the stats in my settlement, but it didn't go to S Class like I was expecting :(

How? Do I have to just find one that is already S Class?

No. It is just good luck with the decisions you are given to solve. They don't always stay at S class either. Never say never, but never seen or heard of someone finding a settlement already at S class. Would kind of ruin the tiny bit of fun that exists.

You have to fulfill the settlements wishes

You'll never find an S class settlement, they're always C or maybe B

Settlements are a Long Haul type quest.

apparently S class settlements are bugged...
Even if you max out everything in the settlement it might not reach S class, and even if it does, it can still drop back to A class...

Some people have spent a very very long time working on their settlements and not had success getting to S class.
Personally, I don't find them interesting, so I barely interact with them anymore...

That's annoying. I'm one of those people that spent a very very long time working on my settlement, at least 6 months...
I've had a settlement stuck at "class A" for over a year. I probably (on average) check it two or three times a week. Production is at maximum and maintance is at zero. Population has been stuck at 73 for months.

However it doesn't really matter. There are no extra buff for class, so it is purely a status symbol.
I have 200 Population, 100 percent Happiness, 1000000 Production, 0 Maintenance and 0 Sentinel Alert and it still isn't S Class.

As stated, it doesn't matter. The S class on settlements does nothing.
Yeah, I know it's not important really, I was just trying to get everything to S Class. Taking a rest from the game til Worlds 2.0 drops.
Hello, I'm like you, impossible to have my S class on settlements and yet I have everything at full speed. Stay in class A, nothing works. I don't understand.

During the original Frontier update is was possible to reach s-class for a short time. But the class was somehow tied to the sentinel alert rating, after defending the settlement it went down to b-class.
After they fixed this bug, settlements seems to be stuck at a-class.

It's just an trivial rating anyway... it has absolutely no impact on anything. Just get comfortable with the A class rating as this has been the way things work for a long time now... Maybe it will reach S class, maybe not. And even if it does, it might not remain so...
Either way nothing will change in terms of how the settlement functions.

Just use a save editor and change the A to an S. It doesn't make any difference.

Personally I prefer A because S is yellow, which I hate. I leave all my stuff A or use X when I can. Screw S.
I got mine, after three months of visiting everyday, to an "A" class.. It doesn't matter that It became an "A" class two weeks into trying. Nor does it matter than even though I have defeated hundreds of sentinels and kissed their proverbial butt It still won't move to an "S" class. So because there is nothing to actually do there, I just don't bother visiting anymore.; I gave it enough chances..

I would delete it from my roster it if I could as it using one of my base slots, but for now it is just taking up space for no reason.
