Trading cards
How do you earn all the trading cards in NMS? Is it something you have to buy. I think this game is my all time favorite which means I want all of the cards.

They can be bought, yes. Then you create card packs... or something. It's a Steam system that I always forget exactly how it works.

There may be a few card drops left, you'll usually get a card when you earn a trophy. I ended up buying what I needed on the Community Market. You can put in what price you're willing to pay for each card or just buy them outright.

It looks that way. I have only three more achievements (the hardest ones) that I am currently working on hopefully I get at least one more card.

You might, but there only seems to to a few drops, then you're off to the Market or finding someone that may trade with you.. Good Luck with the final Achievements, I finished my run to the centre just recently. The Surviving in Extreme Environments takes a bit of patience.

I did that recently too. Now I'm playing in survival mode so I can reach the center. I thought it would be easy to get ship, warp to the center. doesn't work that way.

I'm not sure if you're going for 100% Achievements, but you have to have a Permadeath game to get that final Achievement. It's called 'To Live Forever".

Sigh, Yeah I want the perfect game. I am not sure how I am going to do permadeath (I guess die a lot and start over) it will the be the last achievement I do. I am working on the survival, and visit someones base atm.

That's all I play now, after doing Permadeath for so long on console and now PC. If you like, and I'm not trying to interfere in your enjoyment of the game. If you wanted to get the final Achievement, I have a base not too far away from the centre. You'd have to get your Permadeath game up and running first, then join my game, do your Survival run 1st and go from there...Normal, Survival and Permadeath games are each to their own.

The permadeath achievement isn't too difficult if you can find the address of a planet near the centre. You just have to survive long enough to get all the portal glyphs. Still a challenge, but not impossible.
