Recoloring Items Without Picking Them Up...?

Is there a way to do that? Or just choosing something without changing its position. It sucks that I have to try to get them aligned right again every time just because I want to change the decor.

Z to enter build mode, C to enter edit mode, then G to select color. You can then continue to press G as you mouse over additional parts to color them as well.

Just hover the cursor over them so they highlight and press G, you shouldn't need to click on them.

C to enter edit mode and G is the color selector. Once you pick a color it will keep applying it to whatever parts you highlight. Good to save before you start and at reasonable times as you work. That way you can revert back if you do accidentally grab or move something.
