Drop rate of SPawning Sacs and Psychonic Eggs

It seem since the last Titan Expedition the drop rate has really been reduced, and it has become difficult to find the Aqua Jets for the living ships are not dropping at all. so far in the last 3 days of farming I have had 3 Psychonic eggs drop 0 Spawning Sacs in total, even with sending living frigates out on expeditions i have had 1 Psychonic egg returned. Is anybody else seeing the reduced rate?

how are you farming them? I have about 8 organics and sending a couple out on multiple missions nets me eggs and sacs in usually at least a couple of the missions.

I am going to red systems and pulsing to get it ship wise, and sensing out expeditions with living ships... at 3 star difficulty missions or higher

Drop rates for spawning sacs varied wildly based on the system your freighter is in and/or it's location in the system. If you're not getting any try moving your freighter.

Based on my testing, sending more than one living frigate does not effect drop rate.

The spawn rate for eggs has just noticeably fallen off a cliff in the last week. Literally fallen to zero. The rate for sacs - well, my expeditions ( i send out 10/day on two saves) have never returned a spawning sac. I will check out the nexus mission board - thank you for that suggestion. I quickly abandoned my thoughts of expanding my organic fleet for now and waiting to see if the progression opportunities improve. Moving my freighter location to a new system is a new suggestion. Can anyone else confirm this has an impact on drop rates? I love having my freighter sitting in the sky above my main base but will change for drops ;) in a heartbeat.

I sent out a total of about 20 expeditions in the past week and received about 15 Psychonic Eggs and a total of 6 Spawning Sacs.

That is encouraging, thank you. I will not be adding to my organic fleet just yet, but will keep sending out the expeditions and wait for my RNG to change. I will also move my freighter if my drop rate does not improve over the next few days.

Latest PD game is 5 organic frigates and 20 support frigates. 5 expeditions per day. One organic frigate per expedition seems to work as well as 5 organic frigates (previous game).

Spawning Sacs are rare and streaky. Weeks without Spawning Sacs and then it's "Spawning Sac Week" and I get 10. Always 2 per expedition, when they drop.
