This is the correct answer.
A pinned or focused missions usually pops up the hints from the log pages bottom right of the live game screen. Much of the game works this way and uses pinned pop ups to follow and lead a player to the goals. Mission icons can also be spotted on the Galactic map when the correct mission is the focus and can lead you to the correct star to complete a mission. Icons also stack on the teleport lists of space stations. It's also easy to get side-tracked in the game (part of the fun) but forget what you were following. : D
On console if you miss any pop up information you can cycle through the live screen information pop ups by pressing right or left? on the D-Pad. Also check the correct mission is being followed on the log pages every so often, if you get lost at any time. Selecting a mission log and reloading can also help sometimes get you back on the correct path to a goal.
