Where are the Royal Multi-Tools?
Hey guys I really need some help with finding the Royal Multi-Tool. I have fought like 5 level 5 sentinels and visited 5-10 "sentinel spear" ( don't know if that is the right name, basically the one where you turn off the sentinels activity) and I still can't find them. If it helps, i'm also playing on expedition 6 currently and its where I am currently searching. Thank you in advance and excuse me for my grammatical error and bad English if there is any.

They are at those sentinel tower things, but kinda rare. Of the 30 or so I've visited, I've seen 2 or 3 royals.

I forget whether it was in Jasonplays' stream or Xainesworld, but this question came up earlier today. The answer was: "Leave that planet". If the cabinet is coming up with system tool spawns, skip that planet and try a sentinel tower on another one.

I know Xainesworld did a video guide to Royal Multitools on his Youtube channel, may want to give that a watch. It's fairly exhaustive on how to find one.

(Edit #1) Mine all came from just random worlds where I decided to see how this new Sentinel update worked and went nuts massacring the things. I've killed 'em with unupgraded boltcasters, plasma launchers, pulse spitters and scatter blasters. I think I prefer the pulse spitter for the slight arc in fire. I channel Michael Richards from UHF as I kill: "Oh boy, Tommy, you get to drink from the firehose!" YMMV

(Edit #2) Look at the No Man's Sky Coordinate Exchange on Reddit if you want a specific multi-tool. They have portal coordinates for a vast number of different types.

Oof, that's rough. I'll definitely try visiting other planets and systems then. Thanks.

I got one at the first sentinel pillar I visited in Expedition 6. I thought it was scripted. Maybe make sure that you have the milestone selected in your expedition route.

Maybe it was scripted. The problems is that i did that milestone really early way before i even gotten to that phase. I was like in my phase 2 of the expedition when i completed that. XD

I got a system Multi-tool. Looking into it, it seems like you need to go to another planet in the system, exit ship, reload autosave, and then head to the sentinel tower. I can't really say for sure, though - these 2 latest updates are pretty new to me!
