Do Mineral Extractors have a limit?

As per title; do the Deep-Level Mineral Deposit site ever run out if you use Mineral Extractors to mine them?

AFAIK, they do not have a limit. I have never heard anyone with that complaint and I know I had an ore miner on a site for months and never ran out. It never even looks different.

I'm not reallly sure. All I know is that I very quickly hit the units cap after making them (to make fusion ignitors and stasis devices) as well as ran out of inventory space, so there wasn't much point in collecting their harvests after that.

You can never empty a mine at a hot spot, it will work as long as there is enough power to operate it.
However, one thing will happen if you expand the mine's extraction to more than 2500 per hour, then you get something called (Diminishing returns), and then each added unit will only give a fraction of what they would normally do. But it is quite simple to get around this problem, you just divide the extraction into several completely separate networks.

You can get the storage units to fill up and stop extraction, but the resource site itself never runs out.
