is this thing beyond broken?

i have spent the past hour pulsing around different normal systems to get this to fire and nothing burned through over 25K tritium in pulse refuels and nothing???

is it meant to takes an eon to trigger the mission? considering i have seen YT vids of people triggering it inside of TWO MINUTES are they fake BS vids that are the usually thing found on YT or is this mission beyond frelled?

tried to do this on am expeditions character and a brand NEW standard character and it just does not work....whats the point of them adding a mission that does not work?

I too have spent roughly 6 hours of pulsing and system swapping with no luck so far either on finding its trigger event.

Looks like something borked. Got mission done with no problems. Probably best to wait until patch rolls in

using an anomaly detector triggered it for me on both my saves.

I used 20 Anomaly Detectors, and didnt get it, got black hole'd twice though (on expedition in 2nd galaxy)

not sure if it will trigger on an expedition before other events, and tbh i did not try as those are throwaway saves for me. do you have a mature save you can try it on? my normal and perma-death saves are fully complete on other quests and that is where it worked for me.

worked in minutes on my normal save, loaded my expedition save and havent managed to get it to trigger so its either bugged or disabled

the expeditions are usually locked out of the regular missions until the particular expedition is over and the save converted to a normal mode save.

on any other game mode the mission i believe needs to be done in a regulated system (NOT a piraate one) and can be started by just pulsing for 20-60 secs

(...maybe try using an anomaly detector if it won't trigger...that worked for me on one of my saves)

It just seems random. I had this first pop on my expedition save using an anomaly detector but on my normal save it just popped randomly as I was returning to a station. Both times I wasn't trying to get this mission, it just happened.

I also haven't gotten to start either. I've completed the expedition, so I'll convert to the normal save and see if that fixes it.

I got the quest to trigger... But I am unable to progress because the objective is bugged. Says I have to find some coordinates and fight some corrupted sentinels but no marker appears nor do any sentinels spawn.
