Unable to warp to the Galactic Core?

I simple can't warp to the Galactic Core. I aim to the center following the golden line and nothing happens. No matter how close I get to the core there's no cursor to allow the warp as it normally happens with regular systems. What am I missing here?

Had this problem last night. Got past it by moving the mouse around until a yellow circle formed. When that happened, I held down the lmb until a circle on screen filled, and then the shift began to happen.

Should probably say the angle that was successful for me was looking at the final star leading to the galactic center with it (the galactic center) behind me and to my right. A little yellow arc formed and then I held down the lmb and you know the rest.

That's exactly how you describe it but the issue was trying it under the Free Look mode like I normally warp to other system. To the Galactic Core you CANNOT use it.

Yeah I got stuck on this too. It forces you to use the controller-friendly interface where you move the mouse to the connecting line and charge it up, as opposed to what I like to do where you release and free-fly over to it and click it directly.

Exactly, same here! Kinda odd that the game let you click directly for everything else but don't for only one, very specific, purpose.

Basically, I think most people are failing to select "Galactic Core" as their destination from the destination options in the Galaxy Map.

If you're at R#5 and you have a full tank, all you gotta do is set Galactic Core, mouse around until you highlight the line, hold the button down and boom.

The help text windows that pop up specifically say you must select Galactic Core as your destination, but... you know. 3 second tiny popup window in the bottom corner of the screen that's easily missed..
