The frieghter? If it's got the smaller pillbox looking frigates beside it shoot those for goodies. Other than that it's just random encounter eye candy.

Oh, my bad. Yeah, commo then it'll have you jump to an adjacent system, talk to a dude then jump to an outlaw system. Sprinkled with sentinel and pirate encounters.
