Mutant Plant Respawn?
I found mutant plants, built a base near them, and harvested them. Will they grow back? If so, how long does it take?

They're the floating ones that give sulphurine. Do they take more than 24 hrs to come back?
I think they will grow back. It may be over reasonable period of time or at least after you have visited a few other systems and then eventually remember to return.

have you tried to pick them then save then reload ya save ?
that makes some items respawn
sometimes :VBCOOL:
or move to another system then go back sometimes that works aswell

Or sometimes it never comes back. I built a base around one of those huge palm trees, turned on multiplayer and then it disappeared. That was months ago.

I have never really messed with those as a long term resource. I am guessing they will come back similar to the mold farms, but putting a base down can upset the natural order.

If they are not coming back, I would try moving my base farther away from them. In my experience, there is a sweet spot about 250m to 500m where your base will not longer impact spawn rates for stuff like frost crystals, solarium, etc. Should be the same for those floating ones.

Not sure on the re-spawn rate, but mine generally were always available by the next day I played. It may be sooner or just require a change of systems, but never tested it out.

It's getting close to the 48 hr mark, and they're still not respawning. I've been to a number of systems, even switched galaxies.

Well, it's been a week, and the mutant plants are finally back. Not going to touch them again; they are a nice feature to the base and take WAY too long to respawn.
