Getting Atlas Pass V1-3
I may have gotten way far ahead before starting story, but I can’t find the Atlas Pass. Polo isn’t giving me any missions, and nothing online is up to date. Any help appreciated

"It didn't happen to me, therefore it's impossible and you're a heinous liar" <- That sums up today's society.

Not sure what all the chatter is about but, the Atlas Passes are not available at the Anomaly. Period.

It's only available from manufacturing facilities as others have mentioned, but that doesn't exclude the possibility of a menu bug allowing you to access the construction menu when you wouldnt normally be able to.

In that respect i think both parties are correct in saying that you can, and, cannot, buy the atlas passes in the anomaly.
There is literally no possible way of this happening.

Correct, the Atlas pass BP's are not available at the Anomaly. They are only acquired at mfg facilities or rare random gifts at crashed ship beacons and possibly damaged machinery.

There is no reason to argue about it, just go to the Anomaly and look for yourselves.

If somebody tells me that yesterday they puked a rainbow, jumped 18 miles into the air & then flew around the planet by flapping their arms; Yes I call them a liar. Same thing here. People claiming something happened that is literally impossible in the way the game is governed; just like the laws of physics in the real world prevents all that I just mentioned from being possible.

I'm nowhere near an expert when it comes to No Man's Sky, but as far as I'm aware pre Beyond you used to be able to get Atlas Passes from Polo aboard the Anomaly, so actually the people that are saying that they got it from there might still be on an older version of the game (through steam depots) or just got the blueprints really long ago.
I haven't checked the anomaly myself yet, but the manufacturing facilities definitely are the source of the blueprints for the up-to-date version.

Here is a video on an older way of obtaining the Atlass Pass from the Anomaly.

Even If that's the case, giving outdated information means the person Is still wrong about It. So that changes nothing.

Polo stopped giving them with the NEXT update. The Beyond update totally deleted the old version of the Anomaly where a totally different version of Polo used to give them. The New Space Anomaly files have never included Polo giving the Atlas Pass. Everyone who has claimed Polo has given it have been referencing the NEW anomaly, mentioning tech trees (didn't exist until recently - long after the old anomaly stopped being a thing) & are therefore lying. Not to mention that they said they got the atlas passes from the tech trees (which they've never been a part of).
