Nice find! I saw one of those on my quest last month, but didn't stay there because I couldn't find the settlement. Having a giant worm slam down in the middle of the town would be pretty fun to watch.

The hungering mouths make pretty good nanite farming, and there are lots of them here ....

EZ way is to strafe from a ship as they regenerate just like curious deposits. However they refine super fast like cores.

Right... I did not stand a chance on the ground against a nest with everything at S class. The battle was nothing like the expedition.

Actually: Stand on a plant and fire away with a Neutron Cannon. They can't get to you. It's just faster with the ship. You don't get any Vile Spawns but there's nothing special about them in the regular game ... yet?

Well he is right. In my 1100 hours playing and exploring planets I've come across a good 20+ Paradise Nest worlds just like that but in all kinds of different colors.

The flesh arm thingies are worth 50 nanites apiece and so are the vile spawn. You can only collect the fleshy bits if you are strafing, however, the whole mess will constantly regenerate if under attack from air. Drop a beacon next to the central pod thingy and go to town on it with your favorite air to ground weapon. From above, you can see the worms/mouths raising very distinctive clouds of dust.

You may have to taunt them out by flying over the core, but in general they'll stick around and continue regenerating after that, then just do it again.

Even the sounds and music give me the creeps. Have not been to tickle the worms!
