The weird creatures of Galaxies 50 to 256
Im finding so many weird creatures in the later galaxies, I just want to share them. It's odd out here! In case anyone else is out here at the far edges of the universe, please share any you find too.

I've seen critters similar to these in Euclid. I understand how your experience in these galaxies would lead you to think they're special. But I think its just an illusion.

I have a base on 256 if you need a ride there. (Just shoot me a friend request so I can find you easily). There's some interesting things on my base's planet you might want to look at.

Some galaxies - generally the more hostile ones do yield more oddities. I'm not saying you can't find them in Euclid or Eissentam but Ickymatejew (sp ??) is one of my favourites because strange and unusual happened on more worlds.

Yeah, my 'ratio' of 'odd to normal' discoveries has gone off the charts since I entered these galaxies. Almost every planet has something totally nuts that Ive never seen before. In Euclid the ratio would be something iike every 10 or 20 planets I might find a weird animal.

Every planet in Odyalutai is an exercise in: "I wonder what's the weirdest thing that could possibly show up?"

You can find variations of those everywhere. The top one I bet produces bone nuggets and the rest sticky honey... would make a for a nice honey farm.

I've played this game too much and sadly there doesn't seem to be any more surprises or mysteries left. :steamsad:

It's kind of funny how the spoiler makes them impossible to click on :steamhappy:

It's just confirmation bias at work, given the size of the galaxies they are all essentially the same in all but name only. There are billions of stars in each galaxy, and there are only hundreds of "parts" that make up the animals.

Yeah kind of annoying and pointless -_-

I just clicked on all of them. Just mouse over where they would be.

Maybe if you're on a phone or tablet you can't? On PC you can. Or I can anyway.

It would be really cool if the OP theory was actually true, and the further up in galaxy number you get, the more different things get. But it's not true.

As it stands I have no reason to leave Euclid, no reason to go to the center. Did it a couple of times on other saves, but I found it was largely pointless for me to do it.

yeah for the most part ive seen something very similar to all of them but the 6 headed diglets, as someone above said, with only a few hundred different parts for an animal its mostly limited on what you see

OK so I tried a new experiement - went to 3 planets, each was the only planet I went to in that galaxy. They were actually all my 'landing' planets from previous galaxies. On all 3 planets I found really unusual stuff ... thats a WAY better hit rate than Euclid.
