That was on previous same though and it doesn't seem to happen on my current one.
It seems to be the cloacking device.
Don't work buuuut I can see the thing is connected to it finally for sure.

Very strange you should mention that.
Ok I have (thats say for example) two MLs'.
Both have the Cloak. Until literally just now every time I fire the Plasma Mortar using the Alternative key the mortar would fire.
On the other gun I didn't know how to use it so its never been used.
NOW! I just pressed the button to distroy the walker thing and he just looked at me and walked off.
I then realised the Mortar button has suddenly changed to the Cloak without me changing anything.
Phewwww. This game does have its Qwerks I must say. But at least now I know if I need it how the Cloak works.
Now to get the Plasma going again! grrrrrr
