People are saying the research unit gets nerfed after you repair the 3 pieces of ship to get it in orbit (the Hyperdrive does not count).
Too bad I did not know when I played, but it is not critical, I think.
PS I came here because of the same thing.
Bunch of BS they really should have thought of when were play TESTING, yeah right, this.
Setup a little building (just floor, 3 walls, a door and the roof) ,, than I install as many of this little lamps until the Mission is done. Now I get the CRU :)
So, they played the Expedition, understood that they needed to augment the construction terminal to help people progress. Once they progress it reset to normal. AND somehow this is complained about as the exact opposite of what happened.
And you wonder why HG doesn't say much.
I hadnt played an expedition before and hadnt known the CRU was augmented. Yes i do realize its different than a normal playthrough but so are expeditions so the change to the CRU wasnt known to me to be temporary.
I bet you didn't know that we used to have all the plans at the beginning of the game and much easier building progress. Now we have to do many extra steps as much close as real life: gathering, combining materials.
