Settlement Choices

I found the perfect paradise planet in an expedition save.
Glowing grass, bubbles, gek, the works. I used a settlement card to find me a settlement there and even though there were other settlments from players around, it kept taking me off world, sometimes to other sectors, all to crappy little planets. It found one on my paradise hopeful home, it was someone elses' settlement. It made me kill some sentinels there, and then the warping all over the universe began taking me to occupied settlements.

I dont want occupied settlements. I want an unoccupied one on the planet I chose. =/

any ideas how to make that happen?

I searched in many systems to find the perfect paradise settlement. Bring multiple charts.

Go to Eissentam galaxy. Most systems have at least one paradise planet, some have two or even three. I wasn't a big paradise planet person preferring snow planets. Once I got to Eiseentam, I was seeing so many paradise planets, I eventually found a really nice one that I liked. My settlement, though, is back in Euclid on a winter planet. : p

actually so is my settlement lol found one randomly and kept it.

play reactive, something outside your comfort zone. my settlement's a korvax mistake, somehow they decided to set up in a freaking crater.

on a toxic rain planet. Someone's gotta help these idiots out. Be a Hero, not a Princess.

It seems like it will give you a quest and whatever one you get close to first. I went to another players base that happened to be next to his settlement landed there and got the quest for overseer at his for some reason.

im on ice planet in a hole. doesnt seem much near by so with out me they gonna die lol
