So anyway does anyone actually play a lot in MP on permadeath

I'm not really looking for a tight group per say, Hell, I may not even hang out (go to my own planet or a different galaxy, I have access to the first 7)

I'm just sick of ALL this ridiculous amount of space and it being so empty. it would be nice to have some life, especially more than one player. I'm an introvert I wont talk much probably.

HG could just work on NPCs more. like a lot more. I kinda like them so far, they add life.

No I'm not suggesting an MMO (I feel I have to disclaim this because of some of the fights I have seen online. please remain calm)

I think the feeling of isolation is what makes NMS special.

Recently there was a thread complaining that there are too many planets with native life and another thread about "it's not exploration if civilization is already there".

Can't please everyone.

It's a big galaxy with a small ratio of PC's to star systems and not really geared towards MP with the nexus missions being the only thing really meant for random MP. If you're getting lonely and looking to play with a random PC for a while, the best thing to do would be to go to the nexus and ask if anyone wants to team up for a while. If you don't get a positive response on one anomaly, you can reload your autosave to try and get to another, or use the portal there to try to get to another part of the galaxy where there may be other anomalies with other PC's that aren't accessible from your current location

I'm an introvert also, but I do enjoy teaming up with other players when there's something to do, especially if when it's a new player than appreciates getting some help, like the anomaly missions and after my run on normal, I play permadeath only now. So, Dampback, if you're looking for someone to team up with occasionally and not worry about having to be 'tight knit', you can add me.

I play almost exclusively permadeath. 2/3rds of my deaths have been due to game bugs though. I tried playing multiplayer on permadeath but usually when my teammate dies they stop playing so I'm back to soloing on permadeath. You can add me if you like but.... fair warning. I'm an extrovert but I know how to deal with introverts because my wife is an introvert.

I lost a 45 hour save once cause i glicthed into a space station and kept taking damage.. I had plenty of time to pause and leave the game i was just pissed and panicing lol

I currently have 127 hours farthest play thru

110 hrs saved and I nearly lost my save twice. 1st time was glitching into my freighter from pulse and the second was falling off a frigate during repairs. Thankfully I was able to reload in time both times.

Im not messing with permadeath, I still die to too many bugs for that, tried it once and after about a couple of days I got killed when the freighter I landed on decided to warp away as I was going up the stairs to the captain, leaving me in space, but apparently taking my ship with it. Nah not doing this.
