I can have a battery, hooked to my power setup, attempting to act as a bridge since every power cable is virtually broken. When taking a power cable from (in this case) a battery, the cable will not go 50, 25, 10, 5,3, or even 1 meter without it showing as red, meaning no power. So you mean to tell me that stretching a power cable from a functioning batter more than or up to 1 meter is stretching it further than their limit?
It's a Steam game though, which means you do not need to use photo mode to take a screenshot. F12 works, just like ALL other steam games (unless you disabled steam overlay for the game).
How does this make ANY sense
Wires go maybe a connection, then do that. They just stop working, nothing connected works. And its the pipes also, same crap. Explain how thats to much for how they are supposed to be used. There is no excuse for something like that. My ship is far away, I stood back. I ALREADY have power flowing through it. How does this make ANY sense
I'm actually in the anamoly now. I have some eggs to sequence and was headed back before you said anything even.
I'm playing my Permadeath save, so you wouldn't see me unless you are on Survival or PD mode.
There is, you can change it on your profile. But If you do that, it would change your name in the discussion forums AND the game.
However most players seem to be able to work with the new systems with little problem.
I would argue if the OP spent 6 hours on trying to make something work the time would have been better spent on locating a more optimal power/mining site which no doubt could have been found in far less time.
Ultimately if NMS causes the OP this much stress then maybe they should, have they have suggested on their own, move on to another game.
Well what get me is the switch into the tirade of bashing the developers. Once I read that I stopped caring about OP. You could say the same things about the OP not being smart enough to figure out how things work.
I don't use planet bases much but when I do I never have an issue connecting power to extractors. I walk the path with a battery when the menu switches I back up and place the battery, repeat until I have connection points and connect them. I would usually put a tank beside the battery because you need those as well for the piping.
Crazy me for thinking that a game out for this long would clear up bugs that have existed for a minimum of 3 years. Hope with an outlook like that, that you are not in charge of anything even remotely important. Lets be real, this is an existing problem that they have ignored= bad at job. It is that easy. Not a far leap to lay the blame of errors at the feet of the people that made the error and clearly cant manage to fix it? Its not bashing if its the truth. If they fixed the issues with their creation, then I wouldnt have to as if anyone else knows how to work around their mistakes
