Just started the game and saw that it was only for Expedition 13, can we have it by trade or anything ?

You can trade ships, but it requires selling it to an NPC then the second player buying it from the NPC. This will reroll the stats and slots.

You can ask someone to give you the parts.

You can wait for the replay in December and January.

You can use a save editor to add it to your character.

Also The Iron Vulture hase much high combat bonuses - my was 77% bonus to damage. Have no idea why.

Another option not mentioned by @Lindy Bomber above, is that you could play the expedition right now to earn it on your account, if you wanted to. It's not difficult, and it doesn't involve modding the game...You just need to replace a single JSON (text) file and play with Steam offline until you finish it. More details here[cwmonkey.github.io] if you decide you want to do that.

But, as Lindy said, the expedition will run again in December, almost certainly, and that's not all that far away.

I missed that expedition as well and didn't have the patience to wait. Just finished running it this morning using the offline method. The Iron Vulture is my new favorite ship; I just love the Gunship look it has.

I hardly see using a method that is basically choosing to not play the game as a "better option". If I wanted to not play the game, I just would have chosen to not buy it in the first place.
