you follow the instructions to fix your ship. It's really quite simple.

You don't learn the Antimatter blueprint until after you find one at an Abandoned Building.
https://nomanssky.fandom.com/wiki/Awakenings
Once they have been found, the correct NPC's dialogue will be interrupted by the same mysterious message, which will then give encoded coordinates. Once the data has been received, the player will then be directed to return to their Base Computer to decode the coordinates, ideally by using the station's teleporter.

The Hyperdrive
The decoded coordinates reveal the location of a Crashed Freighter which the player must visit.
...{snip}...
Though the player's starship now has a Hyperdrive, it will not have the fuel required to initiate interstellar travel. At this point, the player must return to space and scan nearby planets with the starship's scanner to reveal a signal. Returning to the newly obtained signal on the player's starting planet will lead them to an Abandoned Building with an infested terminal. The player should be careful not to disturb the Whispering Eggs near the base. Destroying them will spawn Biological Horrors, which are dangerously overpowered for a starting player and spawn endlessly, anyway. Instead, the player should walk into the building and remove Residual Goop from said terminal to obtain a unit of Antimatter and the blueprint for Antimatter Housing.

Reset the mission. You obviously missed a step in the mission guide. Have you made a scanner yet?

my ship has a scanner, yes. how do i reset a mission?

i mean the scanner you hold F (don't know what it is if you use a console) down and it gives you directions? When things are lost or dead they generally don't give you direct directions/instructions sometimes and you need to use or make tools to assist you in your journey.
To reset a mission you press esc and check the log. There's an option when you select your current mission to reset it.

You will not be able to reset this mission.
You fly into space in your starship in the current system, and press the scanner key [c] on keyboard or [push LS] on a controller, An abandoned building on a nearby planet will be marked.

FYI: That option ONLY appears when you are several thousand light years away from the original point of the mission. This early in the tutorial, the only way to achieve that is a Portal. Not helpful to the OP at all.

well... delete your game file and restart the game. Idk there's instructions and they really aren't that hard to follow. Sounds like you are 5 mins into the game anyway. It's not like Star Citizen where you do as it says and it doesn't work. NNNNNNN nothing. Or something works and then it doesn't like stopping with X. No pocessed boxes you have to leave in space because they don't work like they did 10 years ago.

doesn't change the fact that there's nothign wrong with this game except the player... Even i have made a boo boo where it's a me issue. But Star Citizen is a different matter even after 10 years. They just don't learn it seems as an honest consumer.

NNNNNNNNN, nothing. Oh i had to take off first with space bar... It actually didn't say that!
It helps if the person in charge actually plays their games and doesn't mess with the consumers. Getting their cronies to say things like... ANYONE WITH A GOOD SHIP UP FOR ERT MISSIONS? after 3 or 4 days of offering a ride in a good ship and not showing up. I'm sorry i'm only willing to spend 40 quid on a broken game.

How this normally goes is you go about fixing your ship. Once it's fixed you take off and leave the planet. Once you're in space the mission progresses and asks you to test out your ship to make sure you fixed it all up. Once you finish this you are directed to a spot on a planet in your current system which leads to some busted machinery. interacting with this gives you the terrain manipulator and base computer blueprints. The mission then goes onto base building and just continues on from there. You do that and get directed to a crashed freighter which gives you hyperdrive blueprints and after installing it in your ship the next step in the mission triggers. Once you fly into space with a hyperdrive installed you scan with your ship and then it directs you to where to go to get fuel blueprints.

If you aren't getting all of this then you might be glitching out. I would probably just start the save over since this is pretty early game.

Sorry, I had you one step further along...
I've edited my wiki quote post.
Your destination at this stage is your Base Computer.
