Baiting the hook
Ah! The fishing fun reminds me of RL when I actually went fishing.

To really give this fishing mod a plus all they would need to do is show us how to put the different kinds of bait on the hook to assure that a fish won't just swim away with the bait every time.

If anyone feels a drive to actually go fishing in RL learning the way to use different bait on a hook and the size of the hook will assure them of catching a 1 pound fish to feed a couple people or a 5 pound fish to feed the whole camping out group.

All the fish varieties are listed here, along with the new recipes. Fishing Checklist & Food Recipes [Aquarius 5.10].

The expedition covers that by awarding the specialist bait and recipes before the task to catch specific fish types, and the Bait Box tells you to experiment with "any foodstuff".
All the food bait properties are shown here:
Best Baits.

While it takes a bit of trial and error to figure it out, it is explained in the popup for the multitool.
If I remember right:

Click on the left mouse button when you have the fishing gear enabled. It will take you to your inventory where you pick a bait and drop that bait into the bait install box provided. Same deal if you want to change baits. You just move the old bait back to inventory and grab a new bait in drop it in.

Bait Box has also been added to your Quick Menu [x] > Utilities > Access Bait Box
(only available if the active multi-tool has a Fishing Rig installed)
